Yes, you do make a lot more money for comparable jobs in the US than in France, esp in NYC, and esp for manual work.
But I’m not sure if your purchasing power is better when you actually live in Manhattan.

With Smartdate I actually had the LUCK of finding myself confronted to EVERY single problem that the Founder of a startup should ever face, in a very short period of time.
